The troops along with their parents went on a tour of TD Bank North in St. Johnsbury. During this tour they watched a couple movies and then got to check out all the areas of the bank. They got to learn about ATMS, they got to see behind the atm, behind the desk, and they even got to go inside the vault. After the tours they went upstairs to the board room and were asked to draw pictures of something they would want to save money for. They were then given banks, a certificate,a patch for joining in on the fun, as well as a $10 certificate for a account at the bank. The bank also provided snacks. At the end the children got to meet T.D. the mascot for the bank....

Community Service
The Girls' decided as their community Service event they wanted to
gather donations for the Animal Shelter. They were very proud to take
their donations themselves and get to see all the kitties at the
Shelter. To finish off this unit we will make bird feeders at our next
meeting so the girls' can hang them at their homes...
Be sure to collect milk jugs to bring to the meeting on the 15th.

The Daisies are all new
to Girl Scouts. So right now they are learning their promise.
I have it below. Please
work with your daughter so she learns it. They have all worked so hard and are very
proud of this accomplishment..
The Brownies are
working on learning about themselves and what makes each of them special.
